Toyota Aristo

Figured I'd post this here, I spend most of my CZ28 time in this Forum...

Was on my way back from lunch today and was following a car which 'appeared' to have no driver, but I realized that he was there on the 'wrong' side. Got close enough to read the name - Toyota Aristo.

Never seen one before and seeing someone on the other side of the car sort of messed with my brain.

Anyone know anything about these?

Jeff

Wikipedia says it's the home market version of the Lexus GS. Was it LHD?

I think you mean RHD. Canada apparently has fairly liberal import rules that allow you to import Japanese vehicles once they're something like 15 years old. I know someone up there who has a Toyota van -- a nextgen version of the one they sold here in the 80s.

You may have seen the equivalent to the original Lexus GS300.

Yeah, This guy was able to get a backwards Toyota from Japan, but the GTO's bumper keeps it from coming in....

(And thanks to all for fixing my RHD/LHD confusion error!)
