Dyke top piston ring

Does anyone use the Dyke style top piston ring to reduce flutter? I seem to have a real hard time searching for information (although I do get a lot of results, just not that type of Dyke...). I wanted to know if anyone knew the pro's and con's of running such a top ring for a highly boosted application. The engine may see upwards of 40 lbs of boost with methanol. Does the piston need a receiver groove to house the L shape to the ring?
