San AntonioOUTCAST 12-04-2002, 10:54 PM Anything going on in San Antonio F-Body wise. I will be visiting this weekend just curious. Also what are the good shop out there as well? ford 12-04-2002, 11:45 PM Well the SA f-body seen is large but i really dont know if there is anything planned for the weekend. Either way hope you like your stay in SA and texas Bloodztone 12-05-2002, 08:36 AM Nothing going on this weekend, next weekend would have been better. That's our regular meeting at Hooters. The only shop in town that works on f-bodies is Team Extreme on Nacodochges, although I've hear Modern Tech on Perrin Beittel has started to do some work on our cars. Your best bet would be to work with one of the local mechanics here named Ryan who posts on the board under AHARTZ28. I know he is very busy though but he does fantastic work. Silver00 12-06-2002, 02:17 AM So far the work I've had done by Ryan is awesome. I can't wait to see how my LS1 swap goes. I've heard nothing but praise for the man so that's why I went to him. Does anyone have a phone # for team extreme? I wanted to see if they might have some AIR block offs or could fabricate some. Silver00 Bloodztone 12-06-2002, 08:48 AM Actually the air block offs would be easier to make. Goto LS1info.com and look up block offs and they will tell you how to make them. Either that or look on thunderracing.com or ls1speed for the parts. Dark Angel 12-06-2002, 01:54 PM I believe Pace has them also. I made my own. They aren't perfect, but work for the time being. T-Rod 12-07-2002, 11:28 PM I got mine from pace also, they seem to work great. PG 12-08-2002, 11:23 AM If you have a drill you can make your own block off plates. I did. Or you can go with full race headers like dynatech, they don't have any flanges for the air or egr tubes. | ||
