Closed loop question

When going into closed loop, the PCM begins using input from the O2 sensors. Are there any other sources of input the the PCM uses in closed loop that it doesn't use in open loop?

Sounds like youve got it. There are a number of thimgs that will send the pcm into open IE, engine temp, o2's, maf, etc....

The "loop" in "open loop" and "closed loop", refers to the feedback/response from the O2 sensors/PCM, nothing else.

Remember that the MAF is used for both.
