Flexible transmission filler tube

I've seen the oil ones, but does anyone make a flexible transmission filler tube?

Re: Flexible transmission filler tube

Lokar makes flexible tranny dipstick tubes. I have one for my TH400, but its sort of short (24"?) and ends up under the cowl. I bought mine about 5 years ago, and I think they came out with a 36" unit that works better with the deep cowls on the 4th Gens. Madman Racing (now part of Thunder Racing) crries the 36" Lokars.

Re: Flexible transmission filler tube

Found it, part no. TD-34L60EFM. My stock one doesn't care for the new valve covers and I ended up crimping it trying to bend it.

Thanks for the link!

Re: Flexible transmission filler tube

I probably should have checked a local parts store but I already ordered one. Found that Lokar also has a 36" long one besides their regular short trans mount one, and their 24" firewall mount one.

TD-34L60EFM36

That should give me some flexibility (ha, ha) on where I can route it.

Re: Flexible transmission filler tube

I have the 36 inch Lokar and it does make it alot easier to find a mounting spot.

Re: Flexible transmission filler tube

Yeah, I ended up mounting it above the intake manifold. Now it clears the tall valve covers and it's a lot easier to get the covers off. I'll post a pic.
