They fit right in the same location and look almost stock. jjminch 10-22-2006, 11:17 AM I need to replace mine. Can I get some pics of how they mounted? Or is there a certain mounting bracket that I need to look for when I purchase them? DId you just wire into the stock harness? OBE1 95Z28 10-22-2006, 02:01 PM Do the Hella FF75s run off the stock harness, or does the harness need to be replaced? Z95m6 10-22-2006, 02:44 PM Do the Hella FF75s run off the stock harness, or does the harness need to be replaced? It depends on what wattage bulbs you run. On my fogs i'm running 55 watt bulbs so i'm running the stock harness. On my headlights i'm running 100 watt bulbs so i put in supplied Hella harness. Also for people with the Hella Foglights you might want to spend the extra money on getting the clear plastic lense protectors. They snap right on and will save you from buying new lights if your lense cracks. OBE1 95Z28 10-23-2006, 10:39 AM It depends on what wattage bulbs you run. Any input on which pattern works best for our Camaros? jjminch 10-23-2006, 11:02 AM Need more pics Z95m6 10-23-2006, 12:34 PM Thanks for the reply! Hella sells 2 styles, the fog and running lights. Any input on which pattern works best for our Camaros? Running lights for headlights and foglights for the fogs. The fogs have a very wide horizontal pattern but don't go out very far, the driving lights are like little spot lights. They have a very tight light pattern. Remove the stock lights. Get a piece of cardboard and cut to about 6 in. square. Use the stock driving lamp bracket for a template for the 2 holes that mount to the car. Attach it to the car. Put the Hella lamp in place and mark where its bracket attaches to the mounting bracket. Put a hole there and attach the lamp. Test fit, adjust as necessary. When you are satisfied with the dimensions of your test bracket, duplicate it in aluminum. Use some that is thick enough to resist bending but not so thick that it is difficult to work. Something under .100 in. thick. You don't need to put any bends in it. Fine tune the height and strightness of the lamp with washers. Do the Hella FF75s run off the stock harness, or does the harness need to be replaced? They come with a relay and wires so you can wire them straight from the battery power. Tap into power at the red plastic box near the battery and use the original power to open the relay. The lights come with instructions that show which relay connections go to what. I mounted my relay on the metal next to where the radiator overflow reservoir cap is. Get a package of 1/4" split wire tubing for a clean installation.
