Are there any common door rattle / squeaks in a 4th gen f-body. I have just replaced my power window motors, and they are working fine, in tight but there is another rattle in there somewhere.

In my passenger door the rattle seems like it's coming from the lower part of the door. Does it right at 1800 rpm in every gear. I just wanted to know if there was a common cause for a rattle in the doors.

My driver's side also does it but around 2800-3000 rpm. Same thing though, just not as loud.

Also, my Borla cat-back is kinda laying on tunnel brace under the car, which I guess could be causing the problem though not likely. I was wondering if there was any kinda hard rubber I could put between the exhaust and the tunnel brace that could withstand the heat??

 

To fix the Borla, just loosen up the clamps and push it away from the brace, then tighten the clamps again. I installed mine myself, no problem.
