GMR SPEED LS1 TURBO Very soon

I just wanted to tell everybody about our single front mount turbo setup that is in the works. Its almost complete, just finishing up some tuning. It has a Precision T-61, front mount intercooler, complete 304 s/s piping,t-bolt clamps, turbonetics wastegate and BOV, alt relocation bracket, all oil lines, air filter, nuts and bolts. It has everything you need to install it and drive. You will need a 255 fuel pump 42lb injectors and a tune to complete the setup. Will keep you posted on the numbers. Price is going to be under $4000.00 for the basic street setup. Give us a call for more info...1-866-899-4948 Thanks

So the kit would not include the pump and injectors?

Re: GMR SPEED LS1 TURBO Very soon

We are thinking about including the pump in the kit, but most people already have a 255 in the tank already. We might offer it with or with out...will let you know. As for the injectors we are still seeing what people would want, in the kit or not. We want to try and make it reasonably priced. Thier most likely will be a price with and without the fuel upgrades. Also the first 10 people that buy it will get a special intro price. Will keep you updated

Re: GMR SPEED LS1 TURBO dyno numbers

Well we just got done tuning our bone stock LS1 A4 tran am with our front mount turbo kit. With 5lbs of boost we got 406rwhp and 476rwt SAE. Air fuel is at 11.5 with 17deg of timing. We were running 93 octane which limited the timing, for now. Will post the graph and hopefully video soon. This is a basic bolt on street kit. Call for more questions....THanks Joel at GMR

I'm curious to see the dyno graph. What rpm were you seeing full boost?

could just have a base price fo rthe kit w/o those things and then have the pump and injectors as add ons for xxxx amount each. (that is if you would give a price discount on them if bought with the kit, if not then dont bother puttign them in the kit, just sell them seperate)

Re: GMR SPEED LS1 TURBO Very soon

The header is a log style with 2.5 inch with 1.75 primeres. All the intercooler piping is 3 inch and a 3 inch downpipe made from 304 ss.

That what we were thinking of doing have a base kit, then have a upgrade fuel kit offered at a discount price when you buy the turbo kit. Dyno sheets will be up soon...thanks joel

How much more boost do you think the stock bottome end ls1 could handle? How much power do you think you will make without changing anything internally?

Thanks

The dyno is a dynojet 224 above ground. Yeah we were pretty happy with the results. We had more torque down low, but had to take some out b/c the trans was slipping and would not last as long.

That is some low rpm peak torque for a dynojet, looks good. Should hit full boost by about 3k-3.2k on the street. Thats should hit hard!

Are you sure the PT61 is going to flow enough air for the LS1? I run two of them
