I'm running an ATI P1SC supercharger and I am getting a little oil in the intake tube from either the PCV hose or the breather hose connected to the passenger side valve cover. So I want to use an oil catch can but I'm unsure which hose is producing the oil. Is it okay to route both hoses to a T then into the catch can and then from the catch can down to the intake elbow? I thinking about using this catch can --> http://www.accmachtech.com/pcvcatchcans.htm Anyone else doing it this way?

I have seen that one before, but I don't understand the purpose of the filter on top. I always thought that the air going to the valve cover (inlet side) was suppose to be metered air (air after going through the MAF). Wouldn't using this product allow un-metered air to enter the system causing calculation problems for the computer? Or are you planning on using this only on the PCV side, in which case I still don't understand the purpose of the filter as I thought that the blow by gases were suppose to be directed back to the intake to be re-burned. I've done plenty of searching in the last few days, but I'm still plenty confused.

There will be a small amount air that the MAF sensor will not see, alot of LS1 guys run breather and they do the same thing, you can just tune around it maybe or just live with it.

Not sure what to say as i have not tryed it

I recommend it.

So how are you guys hooking up the thing? Are you running both inlet and PCV hoses into the can or just one or the other?

i saw a thread once where a guy used a slightly modified oil-water seperator (used for air compressors) in the line. he just drilled out the holes a little bit to enlarge them.

not sure how well it worked though.
