Mcleod Street Twin with Steel Flywheel
Just like it says I bought this for my 6speed conversion but the flywheel is for a 400 crank (383,396) i need a flywheel for a stock LT1 crank. Everything has less than 100 miles on them. I can get pics if anyone wants to see what the parts look like.. Everything looks new... Asking $700 plus shipping

I'm just curious...what's the different with this flywheel vs. one that's for a stock crank? I thought the only difference in the flywheels offered by McCleod was steel or aluminum. I have a Scat 3.75" stroke crank and use a stock flywheel.
Re: Mcleod Street Twin with Steel Flywheel
Hi Chris,
Sorry I missed your calls I was swamped today.
I'm confused too. When I called Mcleod I thought they told me the only difference was the way the flywheel was balanced. With the weight for a stock LT1 and without the weight for a internal balanced LT1
Thanks
Tom

Re: Mcleod Street Twin with Steel Flywheel
The balancing should be all there is to it. If that's the problem, then any machine shop should be able to balance the McCleod flywheel to match whatever rotating assembly you need them to.
