new to DataMaster question

I have DataMaster and TunerCat (for the future) loaded on my laptop with the cable in the car ready to go. I've sat in the living room and read the help files on DataMaster as well as many threads here from doing a search. Can someone walk me through the keystroke steps to run DataMaster to get some runs logged? I'm going to try to get out this weekend and hopefully with some good air, a 12-second pass will be there. Eventually, with the DataMaster information, I want to learn to do my own tuning. Thanks in advance for any help! Scott

1)click on <FILE> menu in upper left corner
2)click on <Record ALDL DATA>

The "Serial Data Acquisition" dialogue box will appear

3) click on <File> <Open>
4) navigate to the file folder you want to store your files in
5) type in the name of your file in the FILE NAME: box near the bottom
then <OPEN>
6) click <START> when you want to start recording and <STOP> when you want to stop
7) click <FILE> <SAVE NOW> and "X" out of the dialogue box

Your info will be displayed for your viewing pleasure
