Just ordered lt1_edit and the 42 injectors... so its time to sell the NA cam i have in here (cc306) and put in a turbo cam... with 112 is not a good combo...

i wont be running more than 8 psi for now (i'd love to run 10, but on my 105K engine, thats pushing it more than i already am... maybe i'll run 10psi if i need that extra oomph to beat a 500hp cobra or something :D)... so what should i get?

this will be

97 Trans am with tune, 42 injectors, lowered comp (as low as i can get it with shaving the heads) bigger heads, 8psi, methanol, and forged tranny... I already have hardened pushrods, springs, RRs and such, so the valvetrain will take the beat...

but anyways, which turbo cam should i go for? i'm going to be ordering from cmotorsports.com

Which turbo?? What rev range? Which turbo system?? All these questions have to be answered before we can choose something for you setup.

oh yah sorry :D

its a t04 turbo... its .60 intake AR and .96 exhaust AR... its a sts rear turbo setup tho... i see full boost by 3 grand

i'd like a 3000-6100 rev range, i wanna keep my revs a little less this time (with cc306 it was as high as 6800)

with my current setup, i wont pass 10lb on race gas, 8lb on pump gas

Any of the first 6 cams would be OK for what you want. I run a 224/220 with .544/.544 on a 114LSA, and It idles fine. It's been a great cam up to 6K. I don't spin any faster than that. The 6th cam might be pushing it for a Hydraulic roller cam, ya wanna keep it under .600 lift.

I'm running .605" with stock lifters. It can be done, but you have to take special care in setting up your valvetrain.
