Fan Switch Install

How hard is it to install a fan switch under the cig lighter? On a A4 car, how do you take off the dash to get in behind it and drill the holes? Any tips?

i put mine in place of the lighter...never use it anyway

you can remove that part of the console by removing 2 small screws in the glove box/arm rest...under the change holder. the whole thing lifts up.
