Friday, Went to a dyno to get it tuned first pull was 510rwhp (mail tune) after 2,5 hours it was 571 rwhp (5900rpm)
Saturday, Tried to fix my shiftpoints,(High stall) didnt get it perfect 1->2 around 5500 2->3 =never, bounce the rev limit everytime, so the solution was to let of the pedal for a short time to let it gear :mad: Also noticed that i have sparkretard and no knock count al the time :confused: (no problem at the dyno)
Sunday went to the track...did 6 run and the first/worst was 11.2....
11.05 11.06 11.08 124.5-125.5mph 60fot was 1.62-1.67 1/8 7.1 101mph thats whidh 3-5 degres sparkretard and letting of the gas for the 2->3 gear...

Dont know what to do about the tranny, proberbly going for a 4l80E this winter...

So next thing will be to find out why i got sparkretard and no knockcounts :confused: ANY ideas? after that 10.xx ???

Automatics are the devil.....I went through the same ordeal with my 4l60e except it wouldnt shift to 2nd(obd1 high stall problem). So after two "built" tranny I finally gave up on it and am going 6-speed. What you could is up the rev-limitor to like 6500 and and if your shift point are below that it should shift before it get to 6500. I know mine never shifted when I wanted it too.

TH-350 here after breaking 2 4L60E's.

Consistently, though, my car compared to others dyno's less for the same mod's, but yet runs good numbers.

With the mod's in the sig, I dyno'd 550 rwhp and have run 10.40 at 133 mph in my 3700 lb pig.

Mean LT1, My rev limiter is set to 6300 and the 2->3 shift begins around 5600 rpm and hit the revv limiter direct, I dont know if its a good idea to raise the rev limit to 6500 beacuse then the P1SC should hit 61777rpm...

Mike, Nice times :) About HP, i think it was more like 510-520 rwhp at the strip, it was around 4-5 degrees sparkretard from the start, But i dont think i will reach youre times maybe 10,7-10,8 (ok tranny and no sparkretard).. Have consider going th350 or th400 but i dont like the idea of losing my 4th gear and lockup, We do a lot of highwaydriving with the car and normal cruisingspeed here is 75mph....

Should ask my tranny shop if its someting more to do about the 2->3 shift, if not :cry:

Are you running the "12psi" pully or are your really running 12psi boost?

What size blower pully?

7.65" and 3.3" (custom made) 8rib no slip :bow: = 11-12psi around 5900-6100 on my engine....
Also have a 58mmtb, Big F1 air filter, Homade intake elbow http://home.koping.net/u3243a/images/images/DSC01582.JPG much bigger ID than the one ATI sendt (had smaller area than my 58mmtb) a friend of mine modified the twin Ic for better flow/cooling (center the inlet on them).

Nice numbers ;)

If you're having trouble with controling the tranny and shift points you might want to consider a T-Com ( www.fuelairspark.com ). I am running one and it shifts when I want it to (also running a 4L60E).

What kind of timing are you running?

My motor sounds similar to yours except for a tad more boost :D, also not sure what kind of heads you are running.

about my heads, They stock castings whit stock valves ported by a pro but not max ported just a cheap port jobb widh "radius" ? valve seats....
