Injuneer 07-14-2004, 04:54 PM A 275 tire really should not cause any problems on a 4th Gen, since the SS/WS6 cars came stock with 275's. It all depends on the width and offset of your wheel, and where it sits relative to the inner fenders and the outer fender lips. Why not get a 275/35-18 though, and more closely match the stock tire diameter, eliminating any speedo correction? A 275/40-18 is 1" larger in diameter than stock. That means it lifts your car 1/2" higher off the ground than the stock tires, and pushes the tire 1/2" further up into the wheel wells (not a problem with a stock ride height, actually looks better, but could increase the issues of rubbing on a lowered car). A 275/35-18 is the same diameter as stock. 94BlackBowtie 07-15-2004, 08:47 AM What he said! ^^^^^^^^^^ The 35's will look much better IMO. I am running a 245/35...but I am also 1.x" lower. | ||
