Mcleod Street Twin vs. Spec Stage V

I am just wondering if anyone has had experience with both or either. I have never heard one bad thing about the Mcleod but it is much more than the spec stage V. I know the spec is sintered iron which may suck on the street. Reason for asking is I just bought a 410ci LT1 shortblock. Gonna throw some ported AFR227's on there with a solid roller setup and the bottle and need something that can handle this. Thanks in advance. Jarred Buckler

Stage V is on/off only

The mcleod would be a much more streetable choice, along with a spec stage 3 or 4

How about the Mcleod single disk? I have one of those brand new. But I had planned on selling it.

Seriously, do you it right the first time and go with a McLeod Street Twin. The only thing I would be concerned about when you go with a McLeod is your driveline. A Street Twin is extremely hard on a stock driveline.

The initial cost of the street twin is alot , but you get alot. The street comes with a billet flywheel, 2 friction disks, floater plate, pressure plate and an billet ajdustable master cylinder. Plus it only cost 325 to rebuild it. Try adding up the cost of buying anything that stout from spec.
