Vigilante 3200 now I need pcm help!
I have had some tuning/and have raised my shift points with LT1 edit and now I have just added a 3200 Vigilante "lockup" converter and shifts have gone to ****.(too soon & not as firm) A friend of mine has has a Ford F150 and he put a stall in it and he said they changed the torque management in the computer?? Is this something we can change with the OBD1? Or does anyone have any suggestions of what tables to change or should I just try to increase the shift points a couple of mph? What about the shift firmness I am going to do a shift kit in a couple of weeks but is there something I can do in the LT1 edit to the shift firmness or do I have to increase the line pressure for the trans?Personally would rather not mess with that. Any suggestions and has anyone else had this problem??
Don't be afraid of modding your trans line pressure tables. If you want, I have a pretty good set of trans pressure tables that will cure your shift problems. However, with the stall, the shifts will be cushioned so unless you are WOT the shifts will feel weak.
