Good brake Shop?gol10dr 02-23-2004, 08:16 AM Ok guys, As you read in another post.. I swapped my rear for a disk brake rear. Something just doesn't seem right with the brakes. Does anyone know a good brake place I can take the car so they could look at it and maybe figure out what's wrong. I blead them like 10 times... seemed like no air was in them but there ended up being some :) Others had the same problems... car just seems like it doesn't stop fast enough right? What I used was a lawnmower fuel line(sold at autozone) its just a clear tube, put it over the bleed nipple on the brakes, and used and empty gataorade bottle, just go back and forth back and forth with the brakes, you more then likely just have air in the line. Are the rotors and pads new? I went like 4 months on the junkyard pads and rotors I had... darkoverlift 02-23-2004, 01:47 PM Here is what I know: With new pads rotors do not fit. So John Grinds down the pads on my bench grinder and you can now slide the rotors on, but still snug. Stange lines form pads occuring in rotors could be due to non flat grinding. Pads do not seem to come back and forth fast enough IMO.
