Sub recomendation from these choices?

1. JL Audio W6
2. Kicker Solobaric L7
3. Rockford Fosgate
4. Alpine Type R

I am looking to put a pair of 12"s in my Lexus ES 300. The more boom the better, also looking for a reliable sub. Out of these, which would you pick? Any help would be great, thanks.

If you can push them to their full potential, I'd advise the Type-R's...

I am in the market for two 12s and I have heard that the JLs rock.
Those or the Fosgates are in my future.
JMHO.

i highly recommend the L7... i currently have an L7 10 in a ported box in the back of my camaro... with 500 watts on it, its LOUD! i'm looking at trading up to a single L7 12 sealed so i can run the full 1000 watts my amp will put out... =)
my cousin had 1000 watts on two L7 12s in a ported box and it was outrageously loud. the front window of his civic bowed out about an inch and the roof did too.
we have both had the subs in for 2 years, and never had a single problem out of them.
hope this helps

First....which Rockford's? You just said "Rockford Fosgate". Next, watch out for the W6's 6 ohm coil. You said just "W6" so I assume you mean the AE line? I believe JL just discontinued those. Or are you talking about the W6v2 line? If so, disregard. If your just looking for the most bass possible, my choice goes to the L7. On a pair of 12" L7's ....say in an average size sealed box.....I recommend ATLEAST 1000WRMS to the pair.
