Anyone familiar with Pro Turbo Kits?

Ive been looking at their kit. Anyone have experience with their kits?

They use a water to air intercooler which I hear isnt as efficient as an air to air. Im guessing this is due to the difficulty of mounting an air to air?

As long as you have a sufficient means of cooling the water (ie. a heat exchanger or a system with enough volume), the air-to-water will always be more efficient than the air-to-air. Not to mention, with the air to water, you have the ability to run ice water in the system making it even more beneficial.

The downside to air-to-water systems is the complexity and weight involved. For most street use cars, air-to-air is the common setup. Drag cars are almost always air-to-water.

My 2¢
