Talking whats the max hp shot through a NX shark nozzle

I have been useing the 175hp 73n 41f with good results, I want to spray a 250hp through a single shark nozzle. Has this been done, a NX tech said 250hp is the max a -3 line and shark nozzle could flow. Jets are 88n 48f at 43.5psi. Opinions please
This is on a solid roller 355 lt1 forged bottom end widened ring gaps. 255lph intank

I've done a 175 shot so far also. I thought the sharks were good to about 200 max, but maybe they are good for more. I wouldn't want to put a shot 250 through a single nozzle. I would get 2 sharks, or just go with the SX2 nozzle for better atomization. I might switch to the SX2 and a dual stage down the road myself.

when i wanted to go bigger,Jon PHillips said the standard shark nozzle was good for 200hp,but the -3 line was a restriction.
i got a -4 line with -3 ends to cover that.

isnt a -4 line with a -3 nut going to flow the same as a -3 line due to a bottle neck effect at the nut

nope, the -3 is much smaller then the nut opening, and -4 is slightly smaller.

i got my lines from Jon Phillips at local NMCA/NSCA race.

for my 175,i run/ran 73/35 and the car was still slightly fat. i originally ran a 38 fuel jet and the car was super rich, ran like crap.

A 73/35 seems pretty lean to me. What was your bottle pressure and what was your fuel pressure for running those jets?

I try to maintain 1050psi pressure for every run, sometimes it might be 1100.

Stock fuel pressure,Walbro 255 in tank pump, stock injectors regulator.
Last time out the car broke on the starting line (broke output shaft of the 4l60e) and when i pulled a few plugs to see how they were (i launch full tilt,no progressive anymore) they were black. watching a lousy video the car huffed black smoke off the line.

Well, the black smoke and plugs sure sounds rich. Maybe your baseline calibration is rich enough to compensate for the N2O? But in theory, assuming there is no restriction upstream of the nitrous jet, a 73/35 combo is too lean. I'd urge caution for anyone duplicating this setup, though I don't doubt your results. I could calculate the theoretical AF ratio from this combo a little later.

i dont recommend this jet setup for ANYONE unless i can tune the car.after 10 years of juicing various cars with these types of kits i feel i have a good knowledge of how to tune, but i treat every car and every setup as an individual.
My car has never liked the recommended jetting from any standard kit. always check the plugs and not 1 speck of detonation.
When i ran the 150 shot,i was running a 30 (maybe 31?) jet if i remember correctly,and they call for a 35.
