My '91Z obviously had PASS KEY II and my '87 didn't. Am I going to be able start my car if I just lose the control module for PASS or will I end up having to swap more crap off the steering column???

Dave89IROC 09-28-2003, 02:45 PM to eliminate the PASS key (also known as VATS), you need to bypass the starter enable relay(easy, cross 3 wires) and delete it from the prom(in the ECM-computer) there are other ways(resistor in wires to column, painless wiring delete box, ect.,), but this is the most complete I EAT T/A 09-29-2003, 12:35 PM What if I'm not using the steering column from the '91???
