I found a good place that sells a heatshield that covers the hole dash of a 2oo2 Z28.
The Co. is out of Calif

I got one of those others from a auto part store & it only covered about half of my dash.
The one from cavas works is a little bit of a hassle to roll out & up, But in this Texas heat it will be worth it.
They make them for all year models.
You should check them out.
