Custom wiring question

I have an 80 Z28 that I swapped a LT1-style T56 into along with the console, ebrake and seats, etc. from a 93-96 interior. I'm rewiring the whole car right now and have not been able to figure out how to wire the ebrake lever switch for a warning light when it is engaged with the ignition on.

As best I can guess, If I give the bulb a switched ign source and run the ground wire through the switch the light will function opposite from the way I need.

Anyone know how to rig it?

I'm no wiring expert, but I think if you run switched to the light and then ground to the ebrake you should be good to go. When the ebrake is up it completes the circuit and you get a light and when it's down it's open and no light.

I can give that a try. From the look of the switch I thought it was opposite than that.

I'm an idiot. Worked perfect. Once I pulled everything apart and took a look you're right. Supply a hot to the bulb and the switch grounds it when the lever is up.

Thanks
