Meh - not on the car, on the Jalopnik reviewer. He seems to be the outlier, none of the other folks have had his complaints about the steering.
I suspect I will have no issues with the steering - I have one car that the mags raved about the steering (a BMW) and one car that never got any compliments on the steering (99 Z28) and driving them both I can say they are different but one doesn't have better steering than the other.
