The Rockford has screws holding the front and back together. I removed the screws at the corner and one in the middle. I go longer screws from the hardware store. I purchased a 3' length of 1" wide aluminum and cut it into three equal pieces. Using the screws I bought I affixed the aluminium strips to the subwoofer.
