I would like to put some z06 wheels on my car but am trying to decide whether to go with chrome or silver? Does anyone have any pictures of a trans am or formula with these wheels? Opinions would be helpful also.

I have some Gunmetal Grey 17X9.5 Z06 wheels I will be selling with tires if interested.

 

I don't know I've never seen a ta or formula with gunmetal. Do you have any pics? How much will you be asking for them?

 

I have Konig Monsoons on my Formula. The Z06 wheels are on my Z. I will sell them only with the tires. Everything is mint, and the tires are pretty much new (only 1,000-2,000 miles almost all of which are highway). Nitto 275/40ZR17 front and rear. Front 555R, Rear Extreme 2R DR's. $1400 plus shipping. Pics available, but again they are of them on my Z.

 

That's a little steep considering I can get a set of new Z06 reps for 335.00 plus shipping or chrome for $600 and pick them up locally. I just haven't decided which ones would look better.

 

Thats just for wheels thoug, add another $600 (at least) for regular 555 Nittos and a little more for the R2's.

But for your wheel question, I'd say no chrome and painted. If you're looking at repro's then get polished. They'll probably be clear coated so you won't have to worry about polishing them and you won't have to worry about the chrome flaking etc.

True statement. Everything is in like new condition, plus I don't know if you've tried finding Gunmetal Grey 17X9.5 Z06 wheels, but they are hard to come by. $1400 plus shipping should be more than fair considering everything is still mint, and has hardly any wear.
