Just curious what you guys would think of GrandSport (black ZR1 style) wheels on a quasar blue Z28.

I'm not sure if the wheels would be too dark for the color of the car compared to painted Z06 wheels.

I have the same exact color as you I think. And I was gunna get the black ZR1's 9.5 front and 11 rear but after a while I just wanted somthing that you can actually see, with the black wheels it just didnt look like there was anything there. Think about it. And i did find a pic of a Grand Sport looking Camaro with black wheels and the color is kinda like ours. So ill look for that link. But I went with C5 Chrome Corvette wheels, i think they look better.

I think either way you go is goona look great. I personally would go with the Chrome Z06's but the black ZR1's would make your car look like the Corvette GranSport.

The main reason I'm looking at the ZR1 wheels is for contact area... consider the sizes:

C5: 17x8.5 and 18x9.5

Z06: 17x9.5 and 18x10.5

ZR1 / GrandSport: 17x9.5 and 17x11

I just wish I could find some NON-chrome ZR1's on e-bay

I think the ZO6 wheels would look better, but now that I'm getting ready to click the "send reply" button I'm starting to like the black GrandSport wheel more. Good luck with your decision.

I personally own the Z06's but everyone I know are putting them on... I gonna go ZR1 on my car...
