Z06 Backspacing

I have the opportunity to buy a set of z06 wheels and tires for 450 and was wondering if they would fit on my t/a. I know the bolt pattern is the same i am worrying about wether or not they will clear in the rear, currently have stock 16in rims but the 295/35/18 would be great if it will clear any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Z06 Backspacing

thats good to know, i want to put 305 35 18 nittos on mine and was curious to how much room there was. The only other factor is that my car is lowered. I have 275s right now and there is room around them except for the bump stops

if your running the z06 wheel then you will need to modify the wheel well more (hammer) ive got about a 1/4 on the inside between the tire and the wheel well and ill be hammering it soon to get some more clearance

Re: Z06 Backspacing

Might want to mention which specific size and offset Z06 wheels you are talking about. There are 17's, 18's, 8.5" wide repros, 9.5" wide repro and factory, 10.5" wide factory. Each wheel has a unique offset, and the combination of width and offset is what determines how the wheel sits in the wheel well, and how much clearance you have. The 18x10.5" 58mm wheels generally have an interference problem with the inner fenders, because of the excessive backspace.
