WTH? Tire Slashers?

Okay, so I get done with classes on Friday and drive my car to a relative's house to install my new head unit. I take a look at the tires all the way around, and I see a slit and something metal stuck in my tire. I use pliers to pull it out, and a broken utility knife is stuck in my tire along with a 3 inch gash down to the wire reinforcement. WTH!??!!?!?!?! I mean, no one has any problem with me and I don't drive like a jerk around town, so why? Man there's stupid people out there. The front is $500 for the set and the rear is $600 for the set. Ouch. Any similar experiences? Any suggestion on stopping it from happening again? If campus security would freaking do their job...................!!!!

Same, EXACT thing happened to my dad's HHR two weeks ago. It [EDIT] sucks, but unless you don't know who did it there is nothing you can do but get that tire replaced; being that kind of damage is almost always non-repairable.

edit: WTF? This was on campus! Do they have video surveillance?

Yeah, no surveillance. Ticks me off to no end. I'm just lucky it's still drivable if I'm not drifting, etc. It will eventually go out, though. But yeah, that camera looks amazing. I'd consider doing something like that at night in a tree or something. It just ticks me off, ya know? I mean, come on.... I didn't do a thing. WTH?

not tires, but some [EDIT] decided to rip the drivers mirror off our malibu last week, wires and all. creased the door where they jerked around trying to get the wires to rip off. Havnt done anything to anybody so no idea. I ordered one of the autopage 2 way car alarms with the remote that also goes off and lets you know which sensor is bein tripped, etc. Can also set it to send messages to your phone and all that. pretty sweet. Even if I dont catch somebody doin somethin to it, should at least get somebodys attention. I hated car alarms before this. Hated that they tied into so many wires in the car and modified things electrically, but not anymore. I will be installing the same model alarm in my Z28 when I get done building it and before it comes out of storage. I will [EDIT]somebody up over that car.
