Will 18x9.5 vette wheels fit on the front?

These are the fat spoked vette wheels. I want to put 18x9.5 all the way around. I know the wheel fits on the front without rubbing cause i bolted one on, but there isn't very much clearence between the wheel and the steering knuckle. Will the tire rub on the knuckle? 275/35/18. It looks like I may have to use a small spacer. I also have LS-1 steering knuckles if that makes a difference.

I did a search and looked through 20 plus pages of posts and found one guy who said he did this. He didn't say anything besides they bolt right up. I find this kinda hard to believe.

I'd be kind of worried. It all depends on the tire size you run though. On my car when I put them on the rear I had to hammer in the rear wheel well even to make my 275-40-18s fit...So I wouldn't recommend going with anything like that

I like the look of the Zo6's on your Bird.

I'm getting ready to install a set of polished 18" ZO's this weekend on my 95 Z and was wondering how much of a drop and what springs you have on your car

I’ll also be installing P275 / 35 / 18 rubber all the way around as well.

I'de recommend the 18's. My 18x9.5 has 285/35/18 on the front and I have never had any rubbing.

I guess I'll just have to put them on first and see how low it sits before makinig any changes. Anyway, I like the black ZO6's, I'm sure they'll look sweet on your car.

I just put Z06 18" Chrome wheels on with 275/35/18's Dunlop Sp Sport 9000's on all fours. I have had no problem's with rubbing. I hope this helps.

What did you do to that poor car? What year is your ride?

Tire size has nothing to do with that problem if it's a 4th gen. I'd wager you have some real funky offsets goin on to tuck the wheels in too tight to the body. What kind of rims gave you this problem?
