Since I put these wheels and tires on my car, my car has been tracking very badly in ruts in the road. It's getting to the point taht I don't feel safe with another car next to me. I have checked with several sources who state that it is due to the width of my tires (275/40/17). Since I do not get involved with AutoX of sorts, I am wanting to go back to stock width tires to help alleviate this problem. My only concern is the look of the thinner tire on a 17" wheel. Is the edge of the wheel going to stick out farther than the tire, giving it a very unusual look? If anyone has some pics of this tire wheel combo, please post. Thanks a ton,

What kind of pressures are you running in your 275/40's?

 

I've tried running everywhere from 28 psi all the way up to 40 psi. DO you think it may be something else? ANy ideas, I'll check them out. At this point, I need new tires up front anyway. I also have the complete 1LE shock/spring/sway bar package ready to go as well.
