Hi,
Wondering what the widest (treadwise), brand tire out there that anyone is running in 255-50-16.

Currently running 245-50-16 front and 255 rear.
The 255s are about 9.6'' treadwise and 26.1 diameter.
They are Goodyear Eagles. Would like to go with Drag
radials in the rear in this size but want at least the width
of the present Eagles. Car is a Show Car and like the look
of the wide tires in the rear.

Not all Show as to the DRs as can spin them at will. Not
to many miles a year put on the car so wear not a problem
Any input appreciated and yes have tried to research all the brands. Just wondering as may have missed something

255 50 R16 M/T Drag Radials. They measure roughly 26x10 and hook great and look good, too.... They don't seem to be wearing as bad as my old BFG DRs did...

Thanks for reply. Curious as to what year you are running
and not having any clearance issues.
Am running the complete Spohn drive package.
SFCs-Torque arm-Control arms-Panard bar-LCA brackets
with a poly hiem combo on them so can play with the
clearances if need be. Might be a problem since also runnin
the eibach, (forget the spelling) inch drop rear springs.
Can they be mounted on the Iroc 8'' rims? Sounds like
what have been looking for. Don't want to play with fender
lips as very expensive paint job on here
P.S Just saw your running 95 formula so probably different clearance issues.
Any info appreciated
