wide tires

will i have a problem slapping on 18X10.5 wheels in the rear of my camaro? or am i going to need some modifacation. the owner of the shop told me it should go right in with no problem depending on my tire size. but not sure if he just wanted a sale!

It will depend on the offset and backspace of the wheels. Check the FAQ for guidelines on offset.

the offset is +58mm (8.03") backspace it's actually an OEM Z06 vette rims

you will be fine, quite a few guys running the OE Z06 wheels.

Or you might not be fine. 8.03" backspace is 0.10" more than the 11"/50mm ZR1's, and they require hammering, cutting off the edge of the jounce bumper bracket and/or recentering the body with an adjustable panhard rod in SOME cars. Read the FAQ on the 17x11 50mm offset ZR1's. You will have the same possible problems. Varies from car to car.

This all assumes you have a 4th Gen, and we can only guess that from your screen name. Why not add a "signature" with basic info about your car, so people can give you more accurate answers?
