Who's tried the new M/T drag radials?

I've been wanting to order a pair of them for a while now but have held off, I really want a good hooking drag radial that I can drive to the track and home with. Right now I use BFG dr's but I want something that hooks better. The new GMHTP mag has an article/ad for them in the back where they say how great they are at the track but how they shouldnt be driven on the street due to how sticky they are, they called them a 'track only' tire and said that they picked up everything on the road. I was a little disapointed to hear that since the ads for them in Summit/Jegs say its the perfect drag tire to get you to the track and home.

So who out there has used them and how bad are they on the road? Let's hear some feedback

i have'm the tread on'em has been holding nicely, i havent been really racing on'em but i put a good couple thousand or more miles on it, and there is still plenty of tread on it.... they hook like crazy!!! they are the worst tires i have ever used (even worse then BALD nittos) when ure driving them in the rain though... I will probably stick with nittos next time, but these tires look badass, and the price is bout right, so i dunno

So are you using them primarily as your street tires then? How do they handle on the street and how bad do they pick up rocks etc under normal street driving, is it a big problem or not? GMHTP made them sound like they were unstreetable due to how sticky they are. Thanks for the feedback, this is good to hear.

they're no worse then nittos when it comes to stickyness.... i go over construction sometimes, and i barely pickup rocks, but it does happen (just as much as it would happen with nittos) and yes they are my daily drivers... i did notice the wall is very soft and makes the car wobble after being used to street tires (i dont notice it anymore)

Well if you're using them as daily drivers that pretty much answers my question, I should be ok using them going to the track and home That was going to be my main use for them. Thanks again for your feedback.
