I have a 94 Z28, and I'm looking for a set of chrome 5-star (98+) rims. However, I got a couple offers for '01 TA wheels, with "ABS" in the center. First of all, is there any difference between the Camaro and TA wheel designs, other than the logo? Also, what can be done about the "ABS" logo if I just want it all chrome? I've heard some say you can change the center cap, and others saying you need to buy decals to put over them. Finally, I read that the 98+ wheels wouldn't be an exact fit on my 94 Z28, so what modifications actually need to be done to the wheels? Thanks for reading through all that.

 

I have a set of American Alloy 077's that are chrome 5 spoke rims. The rims are in good shape but the wheels will need replaced. They are 17x8. $450+shipping. Im in Iowa.

 

Why wouldn't they be an exact fit? My '97 came with them. Actually they're for sale right now (silver) with new Firehawk tires on them, if you're interested.

You may have to grind the hub hole on the wheel a little to clear your hubs on the car (no big deal). I haven't heard of any center caps to replace the abs ones but you can get chrome decals from here, http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl/vinyl.htm towards the bottom of the page.

 

A buddy of mine is selling a set of the chrome 5 stars off his 99 Z-28 if your interested.
$400+shipping. They have fairly new Goodyear Eagle GT II's with about 3,000 miles he put on them.
