I have a set of chrome C5 "wagon wheel" stye wheels with brand new tires, 17" up front, 18" out back. My friend had a firebird with chrome ZR-1's on it that he ended up selling and is now needing to sell the wheels to buy another car. The tires are completely bald on the ZR-1's, so he told me he'd sell them to me for $350. There's minor curb rash on two of the wheels, but there's also some minor curb rash on two of my C5's. So the question is what should I do? I mounted up two of each of the wheels on my car and took some pictures:

I had to use the two 17's on the C5's since I haven't gotten the tires mounted on the 18's yet. I thought about buying the ZR-1's and keeping them for a while until the C5's tires are worn out or I want something different (like 17x11's out back
). I think I'm becoming a wheel ***** as this is my fifth set of wheels for this car in less than 5k miles 
.
So I guess my question is should I buy the ZR-1's or just stick with the C5's
?

I vote for the ZR1s.

I'm gonna vote for the ZR1s instead of those C5 rims. The newer versions of the C5 rims (00-up) are better than the older ones.
Yeah, I've already had the Y2K's on it, I'm sort of looking for something different. Regardless I will be rolling on the C5's until the tires wear out, then I will probably switch to the ZR-1's. I might just try to find me some 17x11's while I wait .
Besides, it's kind of funny, but every guy I've asked has said the ZR-1's (with exception of my dad and my friend with a LS1 Formula) and every girl I've asked has chosen the C5's, and one of those girls was extremely hot and I'm hoping may be riding in the car soon, so . . . . . . . C5's it is

i was skeptical of ZR1s on a pontiac, then i actually... well, saw it. i vote ZR1s hands down, those vette wheels are kinda.... :X

Well, the ZR-1's are out. I found some damage on them I didn't see before I picked them up, luckily I hadn't payed for them yet. But thanks for the opinions anyways guys .
