Wheels fitment???'s

Will some American Racing TTII's in a size 17x11 with 6 inch backspacing fit my 2001 Camaro Z28 in the rear?THANKS

No. You need a backspacing of 7.75 - 8.00" with an 11.0" wide wheel. With 6" BS, the outside edge of the tire will be about 1.5" outside the fender.

Read the FAQ. There's a table in one of the posts that shows the recommended offset vs. wheel width. It estimates where the edge of the tire will be, based on offset.

I'd recommend a 7.0 to 7.5" backspace for a 9.5" wide wheel. That corresponds to a 45 to 56mm offset.
