Question Wheels and Back spacing (4th gen)

Its time to start thinking about getting some new wheels. The salad shooters are just not doing it for me any more.

My problem is that I dont know what back spacing I may need for my Z.

If you could please post pis of your 4th gen with your wheels and identify what the back spacing is on them so I can have a visual idea of what they will look like on mine.

I like when the wheels have a sort of deep dish look to them.

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Wheels and Back spacing (4th gen)

Some popular sizes:

17x9.5" 43-56mm offset (you can go to 35mm, but that puts the front wheels at the very edge of the fender)

17x11" 45-50mm offset

Do a search on my screen name, on the Wheels and Tires forum. I have posted links to pics of my car with 17x9.5" 49mm all the way around, and 17x9.5 56mm front/17x11 50mm rear. Also posted link to a T/A with 17x9.5" 45mm front/17x11 45mm rear.

Look at the recent post on the Simmons wheels by another individual.... they are 17x9.5 43mm front/17x11 50mm rear and they look really great.

Re: Wheels and Back spacing (4th gen)

Thanks guys,

I guess what I want is the wheels to look like they fit the body. Not with the fender overhang like the stock wheels and not sticking out past the fenders like a skateboard.

I will check out your posts Injuneer, thanks!
