Wheel decisions... opinions please!

Well, I'm in quite a dilemma. I know ultimately it's my decision, but I thought a little input from others couldn't hurt. I have three decisions... tell me what you think or offer any others for my green 93 Formula!

My first option is a friend at work, who has a set of 18" Eagle 077's polished aluminum wheels off his 95 GT on BF Goodrich G-Force tires (255/40/18 I believe). He wants 700 Cdn for the set-up..

Also I'm in talks about buying a set of SLP Firehawk 17" chrome wheels and am definitely leaning towards this set the most. I think he had Fuzions on them, ****, I cant remember. 1100 American for this, so like 1250 cdn.

And lastly, Boyd Coddington 18" polished aluminums which I also like alot. 1600 for this set up (18x8, 18x10 in rear) and thats without tires.

What do you guys think?

I didn't think they would, but he was pretty persistant about how they did. Maybe he was confused, or...?

I personally like the Firehawks. Keeps a factory look to it, but definitely adds.

I put Zr1s on mine, Firehawks dont look bad, a 17 inch rim will really change the looks of the car

Just look for 97+ firehawk pics on google or cardomain. I'd go with the boyds if you got the money. If you want to spend more get Fikse FM5s

Re: Wheel decisions... opinions please!

Those FM5's look bad-*** with the fat lip sticking out. Think 17" Smoothie's would suffice... was leaning towards 18's.

I just can't seem to find many wheels that grab my attention. I like the y2k Corvette chrome wheels, as with the chrome ZR-1's... such a stressful decision.

Just put up my cardomain page.... any suggestions on wheels?

Thanks

Which boyds are you wanting?

Boyd's "Tuned" wheel look just like fm-10's. They would look killer on your car too.

I was looking at the Smoothie 2's. More than I wanted to spend, though... Those Tuned wheels are cool... i like the FM5's more still.

If you've got the money, go with the Boyd's. You can get better pricing than what is listed on Boyd's site (if that's where you saw the pricing).

Check out all of the Boyd lines - you may find something you really like, and you can get wheels that no one else around you is rolling on...

your friend needs to stop hitting the crack pipe. Mustangs have a 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern, You car has a 5 on 4.75" bolt pattern. No fit, no way, no how.
