Wheel adapter advice.

Looks like I'm gonna need some rear wheel adapters (NOT spacers). I did c5 brakes up front, and they increased my front track 1/2 inch. 1 inch adapters on the rear will push my wheels/tires about flush with my fenders; I don't wanna go much farther than that. I assume I'll have to cut my existing wheel studs. Anybody done that before? Any advice in general?

Check with this source.... they will recommend exactly what you need, and answer your questions about the stud length:

Thanks. I've been to skulte several times. They say that anything under 1.25 will require the back of the rims to be hollow. (One inch is as far as I wanna go) I just had my ZR-1's off the car last week, but I don't remember if the spaces between the lugs are hollow or not. (you don't happen to know do you?) Other places I've gone say to just cut the studs. I'm not too sure I really wanna do that.
