ET Streets are NOT tubeless tires.... they are designed to be used with tubes. Many people run them without tubes. You need to watch the pressures very carefully - they will lose pressure faster without the tubes, and you have to be careful not to go too low on pressure. Anything under maybe 12psi and you could loose air pressure on launch.
The advantage of not using tubes is the very flexible sidewall. But it could be argued that you don't want too much flex on a heavy car like a 3rd or 4th Gen. Adding the tubes increases the sidewall stiffness, and may change the optimal launch pressure for your setup. But there is very little chance of the tires losing the air suddenly when running 10psi with tubes.
I ran M/T ET Streets and Hoosier QTP's with no tubes to 14psi. But when I switched to ET Drags, I picked up a pair of tubes. Fairly expensive and very heavy. Rim screws are mandatory, because if you spin the tire on the rim with a tube, you will tear the valve out of it.
