What is the widest tire on a 16" rims
I have the stock 94 camaro rims, I have 245/50 R 16 on it. ANd i was wondering what is the widerst tire a can fit on it? Like can i put 275s or anything bigger on it??

255/50r16 is the widest radial tire for a 16 in. rim. All though the 255 is 10 mm wider, it also increases the side wall hight so the tire is taller (26.1 in.) vs. the 245 (25.7 in.) and the section width (foot print) is a 1/4 inch wider at most depending on the tire brand.
