what skinnies on LT1 to LS1 brake conversion??

in need of skinnies cuz rolling to the track on Z06 front runners really sucks. my car launches pretty hard(1.84 60 ft)but i know that using zo6 rims up front hurts my 1/4 times. my brakes arent LS1 conversions but they're pretty big. i tried putting the spare tire over the brakes and it wont fit over the brakes front or rear. the caliper is just a little too big, i really dont want to grind these cuz they're billet and it cost a lot of $$$ to buy another. any skinnies that will clear the brakes without using spacers or longer studs? thanks in advance for any info

Bogarts make 17 inch skinnies to order so that can make some wheels that will fit. kinda expensive though....

Re: what skinnies on LT1 to LS1 brake conversion??

i was thinking of getting some bogarts but they're too expensive, to use for a few hours a month. that and i would have to pay way more for bogarts than i had for my z06 rims and tires. i only paid $550 for rims and $180 for tires. i saw some prices on the 16"-17" bogarts and they're like $350+. if i have to i will buy em, but i heard that convo pro's work without grinding and spacers. anyone know if this is true?

I have seen the LS1 guys run Welds, I belive you have to run a spacer and may have to grind down on the caliper

i reall dont want to grind the calipers cuz they're billet aluminum and cost me a pretty penny to have them fixed when i bought the car.
