Re: what does your rim weigh?

Brent Franker's site has a page full of weights of various F-body parts, including wheels.

Re: what does your rim weigh?

Some of the weights there aren't terribly accurate. One thing that may help is that those who weight things specify what they weighed them on.

Old style AFS 17x11 2,200 load rating USA wheels-23.3lbs

ZR1 Replicas 17x11 Discount Tire wheels 1,400lb load rating-27lbs

Fikse FM5's 17x11=18.8lbs.

CCW 17x11's=20.9lbs

CCW 17x12's=21.0lbs

All on a certified FedEx scale.

Re: what does your rim weigh?

that's great... any of those above with tires or know of a way to get a pretty good idea of what they would be with the proper tire?

Re: what does your rim weigh?

Those weights are wheel only. Add about another 20 lbs. w/ tire.

Re: what does your rim weigh?

that's what i'd like to know... some 18 and 19" wheels weigh around 60lbs with the tire so that's a huge difference.
