They're unique, but I'm undecided on it.

To be honest, they look good on that early 4th gen. I am not a fan of the early c5 wheels though. They do look amazing in that pic though. For that car, they get my vote!

TT IIs are way too played out. Paint the center of the C5 wheels black and it would look great! I've seen it on someones camaro on a local F-body site and it looks good.

Re: what do you think of these wheels?

I have got to be honest the torq thrust II's are the favorite here, however I think they are unique look to the car because nobodyelse does it. But that might be because people think they are ugly. This pic is from my old 94z and not with my SS.
I must decide soon because i blew a tire today and it needs to be fixed quickly ya know?

Thanks for all the input more is welcome

Re: what do you think of these wheels?

I'm not a fan of the C5 wagonwheels, but I have seen them look good on occasion.

About the TT2, I really don't care if anyone thinks it's played out, and I don't think you should let that influence you either. I don't let anyone dictate what type of wheels I should have on my car, I got what I liked. Get the wheels that you personally think look good on the car, TT2, wagonwheel or whatever.

Re: what do you think of these wheels?

Hey Kick

I am really happy with the way your car turned out. I totally agree with you, but i really am not trying to be copycat here I just think we have the same taste. But i bought this car last Feb and when i bought it I had the a vision in my head to get torq thrust II's and the GMMG exhaust and you have one. I am a big Mustang sound person and I really hate to say that because I really don't like Mustang's because my whole fam is Chevy. Anyways, I am an E-3 in the Air Force and lets just say i don't get payed much so when i purchase something I have to be sure I can afford it if you no what I mean.

I just bought long tube pacesetter and y-pipe now i have to think about wheels and stuff and eventually want the GMMG exhaust because i think it is the best sounding thing out there. All I am saying is your car is my dream.... nice car
One question though do think a 96SS with high miles is an ivestment not just another SS like the lS1's?

Thanks for all the info
Brian

ya.... eveyone here is right TT II are way too overplayed, but that's beca they really hot rims. However im gunna be honest with u those other rims are hideous. I rather get the TT II and be a nice looking number than an unique ugly duckiln.

Re: what do you think of these wheels?

How do the TT2's hold up on a daily driver?

I know they're not chromed so are they a real hassle to maintain?

Re: what do you think of these wheels?

I'm not interested right now, but as soon as I trade in my Corolla for a 2003-2005 Grand Prix and then get another Camaro for a project car, I might consider those wheels. If you have some to sell, give me 5 to 10 years .

Just interested in what year Corvettes had those, because I haven't seen them very often.
