torq thrust II or M ? Nitto's ?
torq thrust II or M ? Nitto's ?
Hello evryone,
i was wondering if theses wheels both fit on a 4th gen Camaro :
* the Torq Thrust II (17x11 - offset = +45 + 17x9.5 offset +45)
* Torq Thrust M (17x10.5 and 17x9)
I know the second ones are a direct fit but woner for the first set. Also what is the real difference between these 2 models (unless only the TT II can be ordered in a polished finish) and do you have a suggestion between them ?
Also, i plan to use Nitto 555 R 315x35x17 on the rear ? Are they a direct fit too ?
waiting for your answers
regards
Pierre

Re: torq thrust II or M ? Nitto's ?
I'd go with the M's because it seems like a lot more people have the II's, plus if they're a direct fit that's one less thing you have to worry about. My friend's brother picked up a set of those recently for his '02 SS, they look real nice. I like the look of the wider spokes of the M's personally, they'll pop a lot more because of that. You'll probably have some BFH-ing to do almost any route you go, especially if you go with 315's. Good luck.

555 R: http://nittotire.com/index.html#index.tire.nt555r
05R: http://www.nittotire.com/index.html#...2Etire%2Ent05r
From what I gather, the 05R is the more aggressive DR of the two, made strictly for dragging. The 555R on the other hand is the more versatile as a street/strip tire, with close to the same performance capabilities of the 05R. The 05R performs better dry conditions, the 555R performs better wet. Hope this helps, good luck with your selection.

Re: torq thrust II or M ? Nitto's ?
I have TTM's and I like the way the fit alot better then the TTII's. From what I have noticed, and forgive me if I am wrong, but the TTII's stick out alot further from the fender well than the TTM's.
Plus, the stance looks way better from the *** where all them Mustangs be hangin out Lol
