Who's running Hoosier DOT Drag Radials?
I am going from a 17" drag radial to a 15" this year for racing only. I put my race wheels and tires on and drive to the track which is 20 minutes from my house. I had MT drag radials and were excellent but was considering trying the Hoosier's this time for the 15" rim setup, they are about the same price but 9lbs lighter each. Who has been running these tires and how do you like them compared to the MT's?
Re: Who's running Hoosier DOT Drag Radials?
I ran the Hoosier Drag Radials size 275/60/15 for a few thousand street miles and 30+ passes from what I remember.
On a 15x8 rim they seemed to work best at 16-17 psi. 1.41-1.44 60ft times on nitrous. Undergeared with a powerglide in a heavy car. They wore and worked really good.
