Which tire you recommend?
My best 60' last week at the track was 2.30 on street tires,i could'nt hook for s... bad tire spin.Im going back to the track next week but i want to get some nice tires before i go and repeat the previous incident. my car its a daily driver what do you think? MTs,nitto, drag radials bfg?
Nittos if you really wanna good street tire that hooks and gets decent mileage. Not sure of the mileage on MT DR's, but they hook awesome.
If you need more mileage then look at the best quality street tires you can with a good tread wear.
I drive Nittos on the street, but it's not an everyday DD.

BFG DR's hook well and last OK.(depending on how you drive)
BFG KD's are good all around much like Nitto 555 Extreme
M/T and DR and ET Street hook very well with minimal life.
Just depends on your expectations and wallet!
Good luck next week.

Might want to provide some basic info.... model of car, year, engine, trans type, HP level. Without that, no one can provide you with a good answer. We can guess its a 97 Camaro, but why not add a "signature" with the basic info, so people can provide accurate answers without guessing.
MT ET Streets if u want to stick like crazy but not drive in the rain and last 6,000 miles, Nitto 555R's if u want to stick good drive alright in the rain and last 15k miles...
for u i recommend the nittos

The 275/40-18 will be one inch larger in diameter than stock. Is that what you really want? A 275/35-18 would be closer to the stock diameter, if your car came with the Z-rated tire option. Whether either size will rub on anything is largely determined by the width and the offset of the wheel you mount it on.
The non Z-rated V8's came with a 26.18" diameter tire. I think the 275/40-18 is a stock Corvette tire size. Your speedo will read about 1 MPH lower than actual speed at a true 60 MPH, unless you correct it in the PCM. Offset is correct. Shouldn't rub on anything, except maybe with the steering at full lock, when the edges of the tread might rub on the plastic fender liner.
