Tire question
Ive got a 95 Trans am can anyone tell me what is the widest profile tire i would be able to fit in the rear only, id like to run a 295/50R16 but not sure if it will rub on the inner tub, thanx for your time

There are plenty of people running 315 width tires on 17 inch rims.
I think you can put a 295/50r16 tire on the stock 16 in rim, but I don't think anyone makes any that are rated higher than sr speed rating... Unless you're doing it just for looks, you're better off getting a better tire with the proper speed rating.
